Ballarat International Foto Biennale 2011 represents both photographers and the photography audience in general. Our mission is to raise the profile of photography as a legitimate art form alongside the other visual arts in Australia, and to raise the profile of the Australian photographers internationally. We are a not-for-profit organisation that involves volunteers in our work. We adhere to the National Standards for Volunteer Involvement in Not-for-profit Organisations and comply with the Australian definition, principles and model code of practice for involving volunteers.

BIFB'11 volunteer tasks include:

Organising committee membership

etc, etc.
most BIFB'11 volunteer tasks require a commitment of 3 hours for each shift
BIFB'11 volunteers will be required to undertake two induction sessions prior to the festival
